Question: what do you like about space and why?

I like space because I thinks it beautiful and amazing. You can just look up at the night sky and wonder – how many other worlds are out there? Is there an alien stood on their home planet, also staring up the same stars wondering the same thing? The colours and shapes of the different stars and planets is just so amazing. We’ve been looking up at space for thousands of years (hundreds with telescopes) and even now, we know so little about it. My research field didn’t start until around 1900 so there is so much more we have to learn.
