• Question: If you stared at the sun for too long what would happen?

      You would severly damage the optic nerve in your eye and go blind so you should never stare at the sun.

      Ask Donald Trump or anyone else who looked directly as the eclipse in the US last year… even when the sun is partially covered it can still damage your eyesight.

      You can get special filters for telescopes that allow you to safely look at the sun and you can see sunspots which I thought was pretty cool!
