• Question: Are you lonely where you live?

      Hi,
      I’m not lonely where I live. I have my dog and my husband whom I live with and I have a few friends up here on Svalbard. People don’t stay on Svalbard for very long (generally about 5 years) and I’ve been here for 10 years so a lot of my friends have left. My best friend lives back in the UK and we have once a week skype chats, which I think is very important. 🙂
      The research group whom I work with are all very nice and we have coffee and lunch together most days when we are at work.
