• Question: How long do stars live for?

      It depends on how massive a star is. The more massive it is, the shorter its life is, and the lighter it is the longer it will live. A very massive star will live a few million years, and smaller stars will live a few billion years. Our sun is relatively small, and will live for 10 billion years. It was formed about 4.6 years ago, so it is now at the middle stage of its life 🙂
